What is the purpose of gap in sealing rubber of double grill pan?

There is hole at the back side of grill pan and at the same point, a gap is visible in its sealing rubber. its purpose is to discharge the excess steam from the pan. Please note that you also get a spare sealing rubber in the package box.


Can the pan self-open due to inside steam?

No. Each handle of the double sided pan has a magnet that strongly holds the both pans and they will not unwantedly open due to steam. Excessive steam comes out of the hole given at the backside of double pan.


Which foods can be cooked in double pan?

You can steam cook any food using low oil in this double grill pan, including fish, rice, chicken, BBQ, pizza, mutton, beef, vegetables. What is the material of SP-5222 pan?

Its body is made from aluminium casting which is good for saving energy by preserving heat.

The inner and outer surface of this double grill pan is made from granite casting which makes this pan non-sticking and high temperature resistant.


What is the best heat source for double grill pan?

The best heat source of this double pan is a flame 🔥 produced by LPG or natural gas, commonly available in Pakistan.

It can also be used on flame of a wood burning stove (چولہا), which is commonly used in villages and picnic spots.

The double grill pan is not suitable for electric induction plate cooker.


How much water and cooking oil is recommended?

You can use the cooking oil according to the food requirement, however, for a healthy food, it is good idea to use a limited amount of oil with a brush on the surface of double grill pan. You can add more oil during cooking if needed.

Because this pan cooks food in the steam, you can use water according to the food. For example, for steaming rice, you may need more water. For cooking vegetables, generally it is not needed to add water because vegetables are cooked in double grill pan using their own water.

During cooking, it is a good idea to change the pan sides for generating even heat on both pans.
