  • In addition, weight is an important parameter. For example, the front tires of a double-cabin Vigo fills with 30 pounds of air, but the rear tires require about 40 pounds of air pressure due to weight on rear side of vehicle
  • Now we come to our main discussion, how many pounds, an air compressor can inflate. The compressor's inflation capacity depends on the weight of the vehicle. Because when the compressor is inflating, it has to inflate the tires as well as lift the weight of the vehicle concerned. So if your car is big and heavy, buy a good quality compressor for it.

Decide A Good Air Pump, Based on Its Weight

For example, mini compressor and metal air compressor and tornado air compressors are all single cylinder compressors but there is a big difference in power, quality and capacity. The cylinder and the motor of the tornado air compressor are larger and more powerful than the mini compressor.

Do Voltage of Air Compressor Matter?

  • No. Voltage of any compressor does not matter. Almost all portable handy air compressors are 12 volt. 
  • Amperes of motor of air compressors matter
